Hi everyone. My daughter Madi is 16 months old and has pffd in her right leg. She is scheduled to have Superhip surgery with Dr. Paley in October. It has been so great to hear other peoples stories and know that you are not alone. Madi does pretty well so far. She has a 7cm lift and an AFO brace to stabilize her ankle. So far she really doesn't walk much. She has taken a few steps but really doesn't seem interested. We first met Dr. Paley on August and we were so impressed. Every other Doctor we had talked to told us that there was nothing that they could do. Dr. Paley said he could fix her with no pause. Our tenentive plan is the superhip surgery and then 3 lengthenings. I am now trying to find something to rent in West Palm beach for the Superhip trip. We are also having her MRI done in the same trip so we will be there for approx. 3 weeks. Both of my parents and my older daughter will be coming with Madi and I so we need to find something to accomidate all of us. I was wondering if any others have stayed in West Palm and knew of any place that would rent for just 1 month. Any advice would be welcome. Thanks.

There is a patient of Paley's who bought a house down there for surgeries. They have offered it to his patients while they have surgeries when they are not there. I am not sure the name but I can find out or Caroline at Paley's might know!!!
