I mean absolutely no disrespect
However, no one here knows you, has seen your X-rays or is an orthopedic doctor. An orthopedist is pretty much the only person who can diagnose you. I recommend that you talk to your regular doctor and request a referral to see an orthopedist.
Good luck!
diagonis
Hi Roni
Why you have not been diagonised by a doctor?
There are many forms of PFFD, one of them being a short femur, my suggestion to you is to find an orthepedic doctor in your area and questions them. After you have been properly diagonised you will be able to pursue your options.
good luck
What PFFD is...
Roni,
Unfortunately the first two posts are correct that you will need a doctor to view and diagnose what exactly your condition is, but for now a short definition of PFFD is:
P = Proximal (nearest point of attachment/close to the body/center of the body)
F = Femoral (Femur Bone)
F = Focal (localized area of effect)
D = Dysplasia (any abnormality of growth) / also the "D' is referred to as (Deficiency - a lack; less than the normal amount)
In our case our daughter's PFFD has only affected one side of her body, the right side. And is has made her femur bone short and bent, but also affected her hip socket orientation, her knee formation, and her ankle. We have seen other cases at Dr. Paley's office in Baltimore where both femurs are short or missing, and other complications as well. From your description that PFFD is a possibility, but you want to have a doctor check everything out to see what other areas also may have an issue, such as the hip sockets, knee, ankle, ect. Basically most of the people here are just sharing information about what we have seen or been through with ourselves or our children, so while the info. here is an extremely valuable resource you still will want a professional to make the actual diagnosis. I hope this helps a little anyways.

P.S. You might want to try to use lowercase letters in your posts as some people use all caps to show they are "SHOUTING" or "YELLING" to make their point. Just a little side info. for you :)
Missing femurs
Roni,
You may find this article interesting. It is about swimmer Travis Mohr who is missing his femurs.
