Today for the first time, Daniel experienced what it is like to have two feet on the ground! He tried on his first prosthesis which will be ready to take home at the beginning of September.

Two feet
Congratulations!!! Thats exciting. Our son has had his prosthetic since May 20th.He is 13months old and still not walking but he is climbing on chairs, beds, you name it. He is also walking along the couch, wall, whatever gets him from point a to point b. How old is your son? Have you decided on any treatment options? If so, what treatment options are you looking at for the future? Again congratulations!

My son shane was born on Aug 31st 2007 with left leg pffd he has a mild case so the dr. told me his left leg is 4cm shorter then the right we don't have alot of money to see specialist but we have been reffered to shrinners so hopefully they can help!!! I was wondering how much difference their was in your sons leg and what options they told you had since shane and daniel were very close in age and have pffd I thing daniel my be more sevear the shanes thay haven't said anything was wrong with his hip he has some contractions unable to bend as far as he should I'm hope shrines has some advice and can give me more info on what all shane has!!!so if you have any advice or info you found helpfull please let me know I subcribe to you blog!!!
