Has anyone found any children's books about kids with limb differences or prosthetic legs? Do you know of any biographies of someone who has overcome limb loss or differences? Just looking for stories to share with my daughter as she gets older. Thanks!

I have found 2 great books for kids. You can find both at Amazon.com.

"Imagine...Amazing Me!" by Libbi Chilia contains actual pictures of children with limb differences. Many of the children are from members of this website.

"Harry and Willy and Carrothead" by Judith Caseley is a story about a boy born without his left hand and he wears a prosthesis.

I ordered the "Imagine...Amazing Me" book from Amazon, and it is wonderful - just what I was looking for! Thank you so much for recommending it. I wish there were more books out there like this one.
