I know we talked about this subject this past summer, but nothing really came of it. I would like to bring the subject up again ad see if we could possibly get somehting planned?
I need help. I have alot of pain in my lower back and and left leg which is amputeed. I feel like I'm not able to walk on it. I feel very weak. I'm not even able to sleep sometimes. I've been seeing doctors in the south florida area and no one can help, they just suggust me seeing doctor after doctor. So far this year I've seen 6 different doctor's and the only thing I got out of it was a prescription for a pad to put on my back. It does not work. If anybody knows any kind of pain killer, please let me know!!! Thanks

Dr. Paley has also asked me to let everyone know that he will not be going to Disney Children’s Hospital after all. He is now looking at other hospitals and he will know where he is going to be relocating in few weeks.
I have a question for everyone. I was talking with another local parent who has a child with limb differences. Her pediatrician told her that she should have her child's kidneys and heart checked since they form at the same time as limbs. The doctor told her that often times someone who has limb deficiencies will also have problems with their kidneys or heart. (When testing was done, she found out that her daughter was missing a kidney and there was a problem with her daughter's heart valve.) Has anyone else found this to be true?
well I tried to get shane on SSI and they denied us was just wanting to know if anyone else has ssi and how the went about getting it We are next to broke and all this traveling around to different drs is cutting into money we need for bills and money to live on and was hoping to get extra help so we would be able to give him the best care we can and I don't know what else to try and one have any ideas please let me know sassycountrygal25@yahoo.com
Hello my name is Vicki. I am the girlfriend of Southerncritter who wrote doing fine at 32. I am just curious if PFFD is indeed what my boyfriend has. He has a very short thigh bone on both sides and his knees are basically up where his thighs would be on both sides. I find it odd that his family never investigated and tried to find out for him what he actually was born with. He has thought all along that he was just born genetically wrong and actually thought he was the only one like himself around.

This is Sonia again , As l told before l was born with PFFD and lived for 34 years very happily but 3 years ago l picked up a very heavy parcel and brought upto the stairs. and after that l have sweeling in the knee of normal leg, lt became better after 8 months but after that when l do some activities for example go to shopping and cinema etc... lt again swells :(
and a doctor said me l have primary arthritis , is there any person who has this problem? whats the solution , is there any cure? l like to be an active person like before.

alright I've had better days I need info we took shane to shrinners today they want to amputate his foot from his heal to his toes I hate that option he has a perfectly fine foot!!!!! I would like to here from some of you who have had amputatins like this see I am confused where shanes defect is in his femer his knee are at 2 different spots how is cutting off his toes going to affect him with a prosticet on with his knee being at different length bending and sitting yeah he will walk but with his legs bending at 2 different spot how will this effect him!!!!
